For those of us who know Jesus as our personal savior the celebration continues daily into eternity.
John 8: 12
When Jesus spoke to the people, he said "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

| "Let the light of your face shine on us." Psalm 4:6 The Christmas light display in our home town park inspired me to think of some of the ways that the Lord has been "The Light" to me during dark times in my life. 
" A BRIDGE OF LIGHT"
When I was lost in darkness on a road to nowhere Jesus became a "Bridge of Light" for me and set my feet on a safe path.
When I had nowhere to go Jesus became my safe shelter and my "House of Hope"
When I finally let go and gave it all to him, Jesus took the wheel.
 Born in a stable , Jesus became my Lord and Savior ! John 1:14 "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, we have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son...that whosoever believes in Him shall not parish but have eternal life."
